Jim has over 19 years of experience in investing and finance. He graduated with a degree in finance from Central Connecticut State University. His career began at CIBC Oppenheimer, where he was one of the youngest Managing Directors. He subsequently co-founded Merlin Institutional Group, whose parent company, Merlin Securities, was sold to Wells Fargo in 2012. Currently, Jim is a Managing Director at RS Energy Group, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company. He actively invests in a wide range of real estate, including multifamily properties, vacation rental value-add opportunities, ground-up developments, construction lending, and land banking.
